CrimeBite™ Authentiprint Fraud Prevention System has been used successfully on personal checks, payroll checks, credit card charges, equipment rental forms, instant credit applications, check cashing card applications, job applications, narcotic prescriptions, and instant credit applications.

The CrimeBite™ Authentiprint Identification System consists of AuthentiPrint stickers and a colorless activator pad like shown in the previous animation.  The AuthentiPrint stickers and pad capture the FingerPrint Signature of a customer with no color residue left on the customer's finger.  The system is simple to use and helps protect against check and credit card fraud. The CrimeBite™ Authentiprint Identification System consists of a kit containing 500 specially treated "chemical capture" sticker tabs, a colorless activator pad, customer information flyers, entrance way and register signage, a custom company training manual, if necessary,  and complete employee training via CrimeBite™ seminars.

How CrimeBite™ Authentiprint works:

Usage of CrimeBite™ Authentiprint is quick , clean, and simple.

Let's say your problem has been illegal payroll or government issue checks. With CrimeBite™ Authentiprint in place your policy becomes "All payroll and government issue checks require a fingerprint signature along with a written signature before cashing."

CrimeBite™ Authentiprint is simple to use, ever vigilant, and addresses only the problem areas.  For example, consider the following scenario:

An individual comes to your customer service area with a payroll check in hand. CrimeBite™ Signage is displayed prominently telling the customer "Your fingerprint signature is required on specific checks to protect YOUR signature from forgery and unauthorized use." There are also customer information flyers on the counter explaining why this policy is in place.

The employee asks for the traditional identification which is written on the check. The employee then holds the CrimeBite™ Authentiprint box by the narrow sides and pulls the tape forcing a sticker to pop out. The sticker is then placed on the front of the check and the customer is told, "For your protection we require your FingerPrint Signature on payroll checks. Simply touch the activator pad with your forefinger and lightly touch this sticker." The customer simply touches a colorless CrimeBite™ Authentiprint activator pad with their forefinger and then touches the specially treated Authentiprint sticker placed on the check. Within seconds a blue FingerPrint Signature appears yet there is nothing on the customer's finger. If the check is returned, the FingerPrint Signature is used by the local law enforcement to prosecute the crime. 

Since any criminal has all ten prints in the national Automatic Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) system, it does not matter which finger is used.  However, studies have shown that the forefinger is the easiest and most commonly used finger. Once the individual touches the activator and lightly touches the Authentiprint sticker, a bright blue chemical capture impression is left which cannot smear, has no residue, and does not need to dry. Furthermore there is nothing on the individual's finger. Nothing at all!
